The golfing season is about to begin and to set the season off to a flying start the D&F County Girls played in the Annual friendly Match organised by the Ladies of Rhuddlan Golf Club on Saturday 11th March.

The girls are aged between 12 and 18 years and have handicaps ranging from 5 to 36. The D&F Girls played the 15 holes with confidence and were delighted to have won the match 6 and a half to Rhuddlan 2 and a half.

Marie Moore the Junior Girls County Manager thanked the Ladies from Rhuddlan for their support over many years, giving the girls such valuable experience in a Matchplay Competition.

The results were as follows:-

D&F Lea Ann Bramwell Handicap 5 won 5/4 against Rhuddlan Helen Brick Handicap 4

D&F Lauren Howorth    Handicap 7 lost 3/2 to  Rhuddlan Rachel Wainwright Handicap 7

D&F Lowri Williams Handicap 10 halved the match with Rhuddlan Maggie Shepherd Handicap 9

D&F Josie Hughes Handicap 14 won 4/3 against Rhuddlan Kim Irvine Handicap 12

D&F Paige Parry Handicap 16 won 3/2 against Rhuddlan Delyth Wally Handicap 12

D&F Carrigan M Bursey Handicap 20 halved the match with Jill Williams Handicap 16

D&F Olivier Hennessy Handicap 21 halved the match with Barbara Evans Handicap 17

D&F Evie Davies Handicap 27 won 4/3 against Kathy Meigh Handicap 26D
