St Athan Golf Club’s Junior Section Supported by Ladies European Tour Player, Lydia Hall
Lydia Hall who has recently inspired forty girls from across South Wales at Golf Development Wales’ (GDW) annual girl’s clinic, has furthered her support for the development of the game by delivering a junior clinic for St Athan Golf Club. Lydia who is now GDW’s Ambassador for women and girl’s golf is studying for her PGA qualification and teaches at Hensol Golf Academy.
Seeing the delight on her junior girl’s faces and a whole host of positive feedback from the girl’s clinic, St Athan’s Junior Organiser Rachael Sherman decided to contact Lydia and see if she was available to support her juniors during the school holidays. Lydia obliged and delivered a camp for fourteen juniors during Whitsun half term, where she coached the juniors (of varying abilities) and organised fun games for them to compete against each other.
