How can the Arboricultural Association help me?
The Arboricultural Association’s mission is to promote trees and the professionals who enable their sustainable management. They operate an Approved Contractor programme, which is a comprehensive accreditation scheme for Tree Surgery businesses in the UK. The scheme provides a mark of quality, assuring customers of good quality tree care undertaken safely and efficiently.
Alongside the contractor scheme the industry body for professional tree care also has a directory of Registered Consultants. These are experts who have attained a recognised standard of knowledge and experience, and have demonstrated the ability to practise as an arboricultural consultant in the most complex and demanding situations.
The association also offers around 100 training courses per year for arborists and tree surgeons. All courses and events are open to members and non-members, and there’s something for everyone, from professional arborists and environmentalists to those with an interest in trees.
