The Annual Order of Merit Adult Junior Fun Competition was held at Ruthin Pwll Glas Golf Club on Sunday 22nd October. Throughout the golfing season Marie Moore, Junior manager for the County and Parents of the Junior girls organise competitions at different golf courses in the County.

This Foursomes Competition is the final match for the girls. Sixteen adults and juniors played in the Foursomes Competition in sunny, cold windy weather with glorious views over the countryside. After the match they returned to the warm club house for hot soup and sandwiches, which was very much appreciated. The winners of this year’s Adult Junior Foursomes Cup were father and daughter Steve and Paige Parry from Mold Golf Club with a score of 70.5 points. County President Joan Beesely, a member of Ruthin Pwll Glas Golf Club presented the Cup. Second place went to Grandfather Ian Cameron and Granddaughter Nia Cameron Smith from Padeswood and Buckley Golf Club scoring 73 points and third were father and daughter Colin and Poppy Ellis from Mold Golf Club scoring 77 points.

Marie Moore and County Captain Janis Langdon thanked Ruthin Pwll Glas Golf Club for their warm welcome, hosting the event on an excellent course and providing refreshments. Everyone had a great day.
