Cubs are invited to run a 9 hole stableford qualifying competition for their members.  Players will play in teams of 2 with their individual 9 hole stableford scores added together to create the team score.

The winning score from each club qualifying event run in Wales will be placed in a league table. The two teams with the best winning scores will be invited to play in the R&A Final

The competition is open to all Wales Golf affiliated clubs who have a designated 9 hole course which has been granted a standard scratch score (SSS) by Wales Golf*.

*To apply for a 9 hole SSS for you course please email Wales Golf at Handicapping@walesgolf.org

.The competition is open to male and female players who are members of a club affiliated to Wales Golf.

Each player must be an amateur golfer having a competition handicap of not more than 28 for men and 36 for women.A player may enter from more than 1 club but in the event of winning more than 1 club qualifying competition will have to choose which club they wish to be included in the ‘league table’ of scores maintained by Wales Golf.

Ready Golf

Clubs are encouraged to endorse Ready Golf, where possible, for their qualifying events. A document with more details regarding Ready Golf can be viewed below.
