The Back2Golf Championship
Open to all Genders, 18 hole Stableford Fourball Betterball. Free of Charge
Open to any member of the golf club with an official WHS handicap index, winners will receive personalised medals from Wales Golf. Winners will be automatically entered into a nationwide league table with the highest points score claiming the national title.

The Centenary Greensomes Championship
Ladies Event, 18 holes Stableford Greensomes. £5 per pair
Winners of each club event will qualify to compete in the All Wales Final at Mold Golf Club on Friday 10th September.

The World Handicap System Medal
Open to all genders, 18 hole Maximum Score Medal. £2.00 per player
Open to any member of the golf club with an official WHS handicap index, players can play from any set of tees which has been officially rated. Winners of each club event will qualify to compete at the National Final at the second Wales Golf Festival at Abergele in October. The maximum score taken on any hole will be a nett double bogey.

Brooches may be purchased directly from Wales Golf and played for at your club in whatever format you wish.
The Wales Golf Medal & Bowls
Ladies Event, 18 Hole Qualifiers. Free of charge for Medals, £3 per player for the Challenge Bowls
Medals – A series of medal qualifiers held throughout the year, with the lowest aggregate of 4 nett scores qualifying to compete at the Regional Finals the subsequent year.
Bowls – One designated qualifier, or separate event, will act as the Challenge Bowls club event. Split into two handicap categories, the Silver is for players with an official WHS handicap index of 20.0 or less and the Bronze 20.1 or above. The Silver division is to be played as a medal and the Bronze division a Stableford.

The R&A 9 Hole Championship
Open to all genders, 9 hole pairs competition. Free of charge
Open to any combination of members, with the exception of two junior golfers. The nett medal scores of both players will be combined to create a team score, the lowest being the club winner. Scores will form a national league table, the lowest score qualifying to represent Wales in the all UK final held at The Open Championship venue just days before the playing of the 149th Open Championship at Royal St. George’s.
Maximum handicap index for competitors – 28.0 for males and 36.0 for females

Male Event for players 55 years and over. 18 hole Stableford Greensomes Event. £5 per pair
Winners of each club event will qualify to compete in the All Wales Final at Mold Golf Club on Friday 10th September.
