What Type Of Coaching Do I need?
Most golf clubs have a PGA professional coach who can offer lessons to all golfers, through from beginners to elite level players. A coach at a golf club is referred to as a ‘Professional’ . Many clubs will have more than one teaching professional and they will have gone through specific training to be able to teach golfers how to play all elements of the game

If you are new to the game we would recommend getting involved in one of our New 2 Golf beginner schemes. Here you will be taught by a professional alongside other beginners.
I’m a Current Player
If you already play the game but want to get some pointers to take your game to the next level, or perhaps you are struggling with a particular issue we would recommend you get ‘one to one’ lessons with your local Club Professional.
How Many Lessons Do I Need?
Your PGA professional coach will be able to advise you how many lessons
you need, depending on your level of ability and what you are looking to achieve.
Golf has a number of different areas that you will need to learn, from driving, chipping, putting or approach play, right through to teaching you strategy on the golf course.
Many PGA professional coaches offer packages on multiple lessons so whether it be one area you are looking to improve, or you want to work on all of the skills involved, you should be able to find an option that works for you.
Some coaches will also offer group sessions so you can learn in a fun relaxed environment if you wish.
What Sort Of Coach Do I Need?

n certain areas of the game and have different facilities at their disposal to help with their lessons.
You may want to match a particular specialisation to the skill you wish to improve or learn.
Some coaches can also offer remote lessons which can help someone who is on the go but still wants to keep their game in check.
A golf lesson is usually a ‘one to one’ session and so its also important to find a coach who you get on with and who’s company you enjoy. Luckily most of our pro’s in Wales are all really friendly and we are sure you will find the best person to take your game to the next level.
